To celebrate the launching of new Champagnes, the Goliards organised a tasting of these wonders, open to all curious people and wine-lovers, professionals and amateurs.

The Goliards’ Champagnes come directly from small properties that we visited, and only we import them.

They are unique and excellent Champagnes that can’t wait to be discovered in Portugal, namely:

Last year the Goliards celebrated the Beaujolais Nouveau and it was a success. The house was full. This year a party is guaranteed! Every year this old tradition is brought back to life: the third Thursday in November of every year, the new wine of the Beaujolais region makes its appearance – known as the Beaujolais Nouveau – and in every bar in France, the curious come to try the youngest of all wines. Today, this tradition is famous all over the world. The Lisbon Goliards couldn’t let such a tradition slip, which is why we are going to celebrate the Beaujolais Nouveau on Thursday 15th November from 7 p.m. to …!! To guarantee an exchange of traditions between different cultures, there will be chestnuts from São Martinho to accompany the glasses of new wine and other delights. We’re awaiting wine amateurs and Beaujolais scepticals. Those of last year were convinced. 2007 will convince even more.

These tasty and hidden wines that Mario Soldati is talking about arrived yesterday, fresh and well disposed. Chianti da Toscana, Grechetto, Terre di San Nicola, Montefalco da Umbria and Verdicchio di Matelica da Marche… will be ready to drink at the Goliards, domani nei Goliardi.
