VINHO AO VIVO 2025
European Terroir Festival
Lisbon, 6th and 7th July
By Os Goliardos
A meeting of 40 European winemakers who will discover their ALIVE wines, in an artisanal, natural and authentic approach.
Dear hedonists of the melting pot wine,
On the path of summer, the flower of the vine and sulphur compete in countryside scents. But the atmosphere of our socio-political times is more sulphurous than floral, with truth under attack by mildew, placing the ethics that underpin our ecosystem into a hallucinatory decomposition. The goliardic ambassadors of Dionysus cultivate the mixed diversity that has consecrated the vineyard as a symbol of a civilised Mediterranean culture. While the growth of the fruiting vine has led us to gaze upwards to the apex and the sky, reminding humanity of its fragile and precious place on Earth and in the Universe, the windows of our spirit remain open to poetic currents and the dream of intoxication. Gathering European winegrowers in Lisbon for the 15th edition of Vinho ao Vivo is a jubilant way to celebrate genuine wine, humanist agriculture, and the spring instincts that combine in a promising alchemy of a fertile and luminous future. On the stage of the Palácio Sinel de Cordes, we will blend winegrowers, chefs, lovers, bacchants, and migrants to revive theatrical sharing and promote fair and enriching otherness.
Welcome, and may authentic wine awaken the utopia of a fraternal and festive collective. With our mouths watering, we send you the programme below.
