Old vines (50/100 years old), 500 m above sea level, cultivated by António and his team, the same plots as the white Vinhas Velhas. Field blend of about 20 grape varieties with a predominance of Jaen, Baga and Tinta Amarela in granitic soil. Early year and with peak heat in summer. Natural fermentation in open vats and aging in used barrels of various sizes (225/400 / 500L), followed by another 3 months in stainless steel.
