65% of Trincadeira da Bairrada (Castelão) from Quinta de Valdazar and 35% of Merlot and Tinta Barroca da Quinta de S. Mateus, vineyards located in the most historic Bairrada in clay-limestone soils. Good and dry year with harvest on the 1st and 2nd week of September. Fermented together in open vats with a mechinal press for 10 days. Post fermentative macertation for 1 month. 300l wood barrels stage ofr 9 months.
