Vasco Croft, a cool and flowing character from the world of the arts, always on top of the best wave, leads this farm with 20 ha of vineyards in the Ponte de Lima area (Arcos de Valdevez), grown in biodynamic agriculture. With the support of 2 winemakers Pedro Bravo and Rui Cunha. The soil is granitic and the vineyards are exposed south and southeast, 1 km south of the Lima River. Green red is often associated with rusticity and acidity, while Aphros red comes from a vineyard with good exposure to the south, in a very draining granitic soil that allows Vinhão to fully ripen and give a wine with a rich color, with aromas of fruits of acid woods and tannins more smoothed than usual. The white comes from 9 ha of the Loureiro variety planted in 1992 and 2003 on a gentle slope exposed to the south. The wine ages in stainless steel vats before being bottled, giving precise and aromatic wines, with a balance between acidity and sweetness, and a vitality as Vasco’s.
