Old vines (50/100 years old), 500 m above sea level, cultivated by António and his team, the same plots as the white Vinhas Velhas. Field blend of about 20 grape varieties with a predominance of Jaen, Baga and Tinta Amarela in granitic soil. Natural fermentation in open vats and ageing in used barrels of various sizes (225/400 / 500L) for 18 months, followed by another 3 months in stainless steel.
