80% of Trincadeira da Bairrada (Castelão) from Quinta de Valdazar e 20% of Alfrocheiro and Merlot from Quinta de S. Mateus, vineyards located in the most historic Bairrada in clay-limestone soils. Wet Spring, harvest in the 3rd and 4th week of September. Fermented together in open vats with a mechinal press for 10 days. Post fermentative macertation for 1 month. 300l wood barrels stage ofr 9 months.
