Castelão (70%), Alfrocheiro (10%), Touriga Nacional (10%) and Tinta Miúda (10%). Vineyards planted in 1998 and 1994. Extremely early, dry and hot year in spring. Maceration 8 days in an open wooden vat, one year aging in a 24 hl and 14hl vat. Bottle aging for two and a half years.
