‘The frost in April 2016 hit us hard: we lost 90% of our crop. After a very wet spring, the summer and late season were much more favourable, enabling us to harvest a very small but high-quality crop.’

100% Chenin Blanc grown on clay-limestone soils, from a selection of plots in Vouvray, with vines ranging from 10 to 100 years old.
Pressed in a pneumatic press, fermentation takes place in 620-litre demi-muids and can last up to six months. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out.
Aged on full lees, still in the demi-muids, for 6 to 8 months.
Bottled in August 2017 with 22.3g/L of residual sugar.
