80% Bastardo with 20% Souzão. Plots over 20 years old and east-west exposure. Surface soils, limestone and clay. Harvest in the third week of August. Destemming followed by foot treading. Destemming and gentle maceration on foot. Fermentation in open-topped vats for 20 days. Ageing in old 225 litre barrels. Wine with no added sulphites.
