Plot of 100-year-old vines at an altitude of 600 metres, cultivated by António and his team, Field blend of native grape varieties comprising Tinta Amarela (60%), Jaen (20%), Baga (9%), Tinta Pinheira (8%) and various old varieties. A year with heavy rain during the harvest, cooler than the usual “new” year. Natural fermentation in open vats and ageing for 18 months in used 225-litre French oak barrels.
