Domaine Dujac

Jeremy et Alec Seysses
Bourgogne

Acquired in 1968 by Jacques Seysses, owner of a biscuit factory, the domaine Dujac has progressively grown over 50 years from 5 ha to 17 ha in 2015. The plots are concentrated in the Côtes de Nuits around Morey Saint Denis and Gevrey Chambertin , supplemented by vineyards in Vosne Romanée and white parcels also in the Côte de Beaune, in Puligny Montrachet. In 1998 the new generation started to set foot on the farm with the entry of Jeremy, quickly joined by his wife Diana in 2001 and his brother Alec in 2003. The dynamic grew with the certification of the vineyards in organic farming in 2011.

Wines from terroirs that express a strong personality are vinified without distemming due to the smoothness and floral expression that the family appreciates and ages in oak barrels. The stern reds in their youth refine with time to reveal precision and definition, in a dense and firm expression of the Pinot noir of the Côte de Nuits, which reveals itself more subtle over time to reveal the magic of the beautiful Pinot noirs.
