Convergence
‘Convergence means ‘moving towards a common goal’. This is what this cuvée represents: a blend of influences from the Rhône and Loire regions. Made from 50% Pineau d’Aunis and 50% Grenache, this wine combines the spice and freshness of the north with the fruitiness and sunshine of the south of France.’
A blend from various plots located in Saint Pierre de Vassols (84) and Lhomme (72). Vines aged between 10 and 60 years on gravelly and sandy soils for the Grenache, and clay-limestone soils for the Pineau d’Aunis.
September 2021 for the Grenache and September 2022 for the Pineau d’Aunis.
Total destemming. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in vats with punching down. Pneumatic pressing. Natural cold settling. Natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Matured in oak barrels on fine lees for 12 months, followed by 12 months in vats for the Grenache and 12 months in oak barrels for the Pineau d’Aunis.
