This wine is produced in the world famous Douro Valley in Portugal. It comes from a single vineyard called Cárcoda, facing southeast and with an average altitude of 400 m. It is a 5 years old vineyard, planted in the traditional old fashion with dozens of mixed grape varieties.
The vinification is 100% natural, without using any chemical additive, not even sulfites. The fermentation is done by wild yeasts and aged in stainless steel vats for 12 months, and more 24 months in the bottle. It was not subjected to any type of filtration in order to preserve the original elements of the wine.
