Eremitas: Soil wines, white wines
These wines come from 3 plots in the Upper Douro and demonstrate the differences that exist within the same type of soil – schist. These 3 plots are all made from the Rabigato grape variety and are trodden whole in calcatórium for 2 hours. They are then pressed, fermented and aged in cement vats.

the only Eremeita that undergoes malolactic fermentation, the ageing period can be up to 2 years.
