Rodrigo Filipe was a Forgotten Beauty who made his wines in his corner, on the slopes of Quinta do Paço with about 10 ha, in Alvorninha, somewhere to the sides of Caldas da Raínha, without contact with the world of wine, digging through the through some surfing news, and pruning your piano. A self-taught wine maker, he made natural wines, without adding chemicals in the vineyard and cellar, not because they were in fashion around the world, but because naturally he was driven to do so. Today fashion is after him but his spirit remains light and ventilated like its slopes. It carries out organic farming and natural winemaking, with very personal experiences, completely “out of the book”, in an artisanal and intuitive way, to make earth wines, Atlantic, light and fresh, with the varieties Fernão Pires, Arinto, Castelão, Syrah and Touriga Nacional, with wild, salivating, and flamboyant mouths. A man of callus, Rodrigo dedicates himself body and soul to his various passions. His wines convey his simplicity of spirit, creating controversies that he himself does not create, with energy and a lot of truth.
